Joint Operation - Stratford upon Avon |
||
|
Not your average day in Stratford. Local SNT officers joined forces with Immigration Enforcement, Trading Standards, and Environmental Health for a coordinated effort to keep things safe, fair, and running smoothly.
What went down? 3 arrests for immigration offences. A number of warnings issued. Several businesses visited, with helpful advice shared. One delivery vehicle stopped for a quick check and a very large portion of chips taken off the menu...
Environmental Health seized incorrectly stored food, including a whopping 1.5 tonnes of ready-cut chips… safe to say, that’s one chippy tea that won’t be happening anytime soon.
But it wasn’t all about enforcement, there was plenty of guidance and support along the way too.
Who was doing what?
Immigration Enforcement checked right-to-work compliance.
Trading Standards focused on counterfeit goods and fair trading.
Environmental Health looked at hygiene, waste, and workplace safety.
Many business owners welcomed the visit and advice. This was a great way to stay on track and avoid future issues.
These joint operations show what can be achieved when agencies work together, tackling local concerns, supporting businesses, and helping keep the community a safe and fair place for everyone.
